It looks like it's going to be about the GT Academy, so it could be pretty awesome. The bad news is, it looks like the Go Like Hell project fell apart. Why not both?

I enjoyed the new one, mostly. They both have their faults. The original is kind of boring, and the second one is kind of dumb. Maybe a third will finally unite all the good aspects of both.

THR reports that Kosinski is in early talks to direct, and that he will almost certainly develop a new script. That means the one by Alex Tse, which was loosely based in the concept of "a video game player turned racer," has been tossed.

While I agree that the GT film shouldn't be like NFS, Need for Speed was an absurdly fantastic movie.

Hm... I haven't watched it yet because it got such awful reviews (and I couldn't find a decent torrent). Maybe I'll give it another try this weekend.

Just go into the movie with the mindset of "This is a ridiculous, FUN film with zero basis in reality" and you'll have a blast. I like to think of it as Grand Theft Auto Online: The Movie.

I actually love those kinds of movies. Speed Racer is probably my favorite car film.
